Now more than ever, it’s essential to have an expert who understands
election security. It's Obvious no matter how this election concludes, there will be a demand for a full
audit of the 2024 election. Who better to perform that audit than a certified auditor with 13 years of
election experience such as Ricky Hatch
So again, with 30 years of certified auditing experience, (including I.T. Audits) and some of the most valuable election experience in the country, there is no one as qualifiedas Ricky Hatch to audit the 2024 elections.
Ricky was invited to testify before Congress as a County Elections Cybersecurity expert. He was also invited to testify against HR1, the Democrats’ 2021 attempt at federalizing portions of our elections.
Ricky sits on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Counties (NACo), which represents our nation’s 3,069 county governments. He serves as the Chairman of the Elections Subcommittee and is one of NACo’s two appointees to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) Board of Advisors, and currently serves on its executive committee.
He is a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council (GCC), chairs its Communications Working Group, and co-authored the nation’s Election Infrastructure’s Communications Protocols and National Cyber Incident Response Plan. The federal government has granted him a Secret-level security clearance in conjunction with his work to secure our nation’s infrastructure.
Ricky applies this national-level expertise to ensure our local elections are trustworthy and secure. A staunch advocate of transparency and education, he has extended an open invitation to citizens who would like to know more about how elections are run in Weber County.
His team has garnered national awards in elections innovation and service from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, The Election Center, and the International Association of Government Officials (iGO). He served as the Election Officials Division Director for iGO and served on Utah’s 2015 iVote Committee.
